Odysseus's Facebook Profile

Project for World Literature - Odysseus's Facebook Profile

We are going to be creating a Facebook profile for the Greek hero Odysseus.  You may work alone or with a single partner. Here's how to do it:

2. Sign up for an account, and create a new page.
3. Name your page 'Odysseus'.  Spelling counts!
4. Continue creating Odysseus's Facebook profile by adding pictures, profile information, a friends list, another list (enemies? gods? it's up to you!), status updates, comments from other 'users', and other information.
5. Get your information from the book, and add information as you go.  Get pictures from the internet.
6. Make sure the first friends on the list are you and your partner.
7. Remember that Facebook profiles list events in reverse chronological order.  ORDER IS IMPORTANT. Order and re-order your posts correctly before you are finished.
8. This is a 20-point project.  The more complex and clever your profile, the higher your score.
9. When you are finished, copy the link to your profile and send it to me via email (mrpower451@gmail.com).  You should include a proper email title, and include the link, your name, your partner's name, your class, and the period.
10. The project (your email) is due before midnight, Monday, February 7th.

Here's a link to the fake Achilles profile that Mr. Power was working on in class:

Use it for ideas!
