1. Read and explicate (explain) the poem "We Wear the Mask" by Paul Laurence Dunbar. Click here to read it online. Make notes on the poem sheet itself.
2. Read the back side of the page and get ideas for your Mask project.
3. Catch up on your Lord of the Flies reading or Journals. You should be finished with journal #8 by now.

1. Read "Four Directions" (166-184), Waverly Jong's next story. Take notes on what happens so you will be ready for a quiz on the chapter on Monday.
