1. Based on your notes on William Golding's life (you may also use the title of the novel and the titles of the chapters), make TWO predictions about what will occur in Lord of the Flies. Do this on your in-class notes, and be sure to explain WHY you made this prediction.

1. Write down a story from an older family member - a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, guardian...make sure it is from his or her younger life. Does it communicate any truths or ideas about that person or his/her culture?
