Composition
1. Read the first half of chapter 3 in Of Mice and Men (pages 38-50).
2. Find CDs that show the personality of the character George. Record CDs and what they show (with characterization) on the back of today's class Cornell notes.
3. Fill in the 'summary' section on the back of today's class Cornell notes.
World Literature
1. Read Things Fall Apart chapters 17 &18.
2. As you read, write down your thoughts continually (sort of like a journal). Focus on your thoughts about different cultures and the dangers of not understanding differences in culture.
