1. Finish all mythological beings notes and the Demeter/Dionysus sheet.

1. Ascetic journal day 4.
2. Read Siddhartha ch. 5, "Kamala," and do your comic strip on the chapter. Remember, color means extra points.
*Quiz tomorrow on ch. 5. You will need to know the names of the TWO (sorry, I typed/said three in class) characters Siddhartha meets that have names. You will need to know why he abstains from relations with the first girl he meets, you will need to know the three things that he thinks he does well, and you will need to know what it is that Siddhartha experiences for the first time ever.

2. If you didn't finish reading ch. 4 "Awakening" in class and didn't finish answering the questions, then finish them before tomorrow. The questions were as follows:
1. As you read, what question(s) do you have?
2. Sidd decides to change what he is trying to do. What is he going to "study" or do now? How has he not done this before in his life?
3. Why does he feel an "icy chill"?
4. He compares himself to a star. How is that so?
5. How is he different now?
